| Abstract The confidentiality, integrity and availability of Internet communications depends on the following two factors: * A high degree of protection against surveillance and interception. * A method of preventing the communications channel being interfered with or filtered. The aim of the IPv6 Secure project was to develop a system that combines a range of countermeasures to defeat the interception and filtering of Internett-based communications, leveraging certain features of the IPv6 protocol, for example the possibility of point-to-point communication through tunnel-mode IPsec. |
